Happy first anniversary to Kirtsy (formerly known as Sk*rt)!
If they didn’t have me at “Hello” they certainly had me when they asked readers to celebrate by eating cupcakes. This was my contribution:

But seriously, if you haven’t discovered Kirtsy , check it out now. It’s been described (by none other than genius-of-the-blogosphere and Alltop creator , Guy Kawasaki) as Digg for Chicks .
And if you’ve never used Digg …well, I’ll just say that if you’d like to find interesting articles about a variety of topics, use Alltop – especially if you’re relatively new to the blogosphere. Then, after you’ve read through the hottest articles there, go to Kirtsy or Digg and find even more. Personally, I prefer watching Diggnation rather than using Digg – it’s a “tech/web culture show” that reviews the top Digg articles on a weekly basis (note: the guys , Alex Albrecht and Kevin Rose , are a riot but the shows are not family friendly).
