Hubs and I took the little peeps to DC a couple of years ago. One of the best vacations we’ve had. I was surprised by how much the kids enjoyed all the monuments.

I’m hopeful too! I love the mall and the monument, but I hate the shadow that has been cast upon them over the past several years. Change is coming though, and hope is coming with it!

Did I ever tell you about the time I was almost arrested for flying a kite too close to that thing? Okay, maybe not arrested, but I was severely reprimanded and warned that I could get a ticket. Who knew?
