Pizza Made Easy

May 28, 2008 by MomentsMom

Shaping the Crust

Adding the Sauce

Toppings of Your Choice

Sprinkling the Herbs

Looking Like a Smiley

Devouring the Masterpiece

As I post these photos, I keep thinking: “My kids love to eat pizza and enjoy cooking. Why do I ever order out? Pizza has to be one of the easiest things to make…”

How cute! I’ve never made pizza with my kids before. I must put that on my “to do” list. How fun!

YUM! The Sassy family just made a Mexican pizza, you should try. SO GOOD. I would never thought Cilantro would be good on pizza.

Turkey Sausage (they used Charrizo sp??)
    Avacado
    corn
    Cilantro
    long strips of red peppers
    Pizza Sauce
    Cheese

    SO SO good!

Sister Sassy’s last blog post..This does NOT make me happy.

We love making pizza with the kids; it’s one of the things they really like doing with Dad. And tastes so much better than take out.
    Great pics!

    @ Kathy:
Yes, definitely! Let me know how it goes when you do.

    @Melisa:
I agree! I saw that post and I think the photos made all the difference! I might’ve pictured something a bit different when you said a grill basket…

    @ SS:
That sounds great! I think my kids would like it. Thanks.

    @ IM:
Oh, too funny. I know it’s just a matter of time over here…

    @BD:
Tee hee…you know what I always say? Diets schmiets!
    (or, well, something like that)

    @ K MEG:
Thanks! I’m glad we’ve discovered that they all enjoy doing it (and, yes! it tastes so much better than take out!). ;-)

Wife keeps dough mix around so that we can make a quick pizza. Between teen Daughter’s softball, percussion ensemble, and jazz band schedules, pizza is one of our easy make foods to make sure everyone gets fed.

Sounds a bit like our schedule. Love the music in there!! I wish more kids would give it a higher priority.
    Thanks for stopping by!

Is it so easy that you would call it a “Pizza Cake?” Get it?! Piece of cake? Ok, that wasn’t funny.

The question now is whether I should hit the “Submit” button.

    Here I go…..

Ha! That actually put a little grin on my face. Glad you hit submit!
